Printing can begin For this book I decided I would go to Harry McIntosh once again for the type. I have the entire book as a Word document. So Harry is able to use his Mactronic system to cast the type directly from the digital copy, without having to rekey it. (You can read about Harry and his amazing system by clicking on the 'at work' button on the left and then following the trail to our equipment.) The type for this book is 14pt Bembo - a type with its roots in Venice. The first consignment of type arrived in four buckets. Between them they contain about a quarter of the final book's 96pp. |
