traditional craft fair
30 March 2014
|
Not your usual venue for a private press, this. However, as we have a house just a few miles from Morwellham Quay in Devon it seemed a shame not to join in.
We have known the quay from its earliest days as a tourist attraction, the one-time port on the river Tamar whence tin, copper, and arsenic ores were shipped out and limestone and coal shipped in for the mines and farms. It has recently been revitalised and this fair is one of a number arranged for 2014. We shall be one of about fifty stalls 'selling local artisan's wares'. If you're in the area, come and say hello! 1000-1700. We shall have a room in one of the old mining cottages on the site and will be exhibiting printing materials as well as our books and posters. So we expect a lot of conversations about printing! |

Over the years we have produced the occasional poster which we have sold at fairs in particular, and it seemed appropriate to make them a little more visible. When you next visit our website take a look at the catalogue by clicking on the 'posters' button on the left of the home page. You can go straight to the relevant page by clicking here. |

and exchange rates | |
|
We generally fix our dollar and euro prices on publication, based on exchange rates at that time, hoping that it makes it easier for customers outside the UK to know what a book would cost them. We ignore small fluctuations in rates, but there has been a consistent drift over recent time, in particular with the pound strengthening against both currencies. Reluctantly therefore we will probably be increasing our dollar and euro prices somewhat in the coming months ... unless the pound crashes of course.
